You also have a dedicated fire pit at your pod with log seating. There is fencing up at the edge of the site, but we are asking guests to please take care with themselves and little children.

Check-In/Out

We operate a self check-in and check out system for your ease and convenience.  The site host is available should you require assistance and contact details are provided with your check-in email.

• Check-in is after 3pm
• Check-out is by 11am

Please note that the accommodation and package add-on’s are all paid for in advance via the website due to the self-check in procedures.

Security/Privacy

You will be provided with a key pad code to access the key for the pod and the doors are all lockable for your safety and security.

There is a privacy glass feature for night – details available in the pod section and in the user guide provided in the pod.

Pets

We welcome pets to our site.  Please see the section or our T&C’s for full details on our pet policies and procedures.

Lighting

There is ambient lighting on the site for night time.

Beds

The set-up of the pod is for 2 adults and 2 kids with a double bed and smaller bunk beds for children under 15 years of age (or under approx 5ft5).  An additional cot can be provided for children under 2 years (subject to availability).  The price is per pod not per person so there is no additional charge for children.  

Heating, Electric & Water

Electric and power points are available in the pod including USB points.  Running water is available in the shower room area, plus a full height shower. There is a towel radiator in the shower room, and within the pod there is a fully integrated fan heater, which you can adjust via the manual thermostat found in the wardrobe area.

Kitchenette

There is a tea/coffee making area, mini fridge, plus cutlery set if you wish to bring along continental style breakfast/snacks etc.  So feel free to bring additional food items (or wine!).  There is also a dedicated fire pit outside the pod so you can place a disposable BBQ there.

The Main Window

We have a fully glazed front at the pod, with no curtains for unobscured views and to experience the sunrise in the morning.  For those that want a lie-in we provide eye masks and there is a pod user-guide to show you how to use the privacy feature at night.

House Keeping

Bed linens, towels, and toiletries are provided, but feel free to bring extra.  We have also provided an additional basin and washing up items so that you can use the bathroom sink to clean up dishes/utensils that are used.  We thank you in advance for doing this for us!

Parking

There is a set down area beside the pods for unloading the car and a free car parking.

Within the pod there is a user guide which tells you all about the features of the pod – how to take down the bed, the privacy glass feature for night, lighting etc.

PET POLICY

ALL GUESTS – Please note that from 13th December 2021 Kinelarty is a pet friendly pod site.  Whether you bring a pet or not during your stay, all guests need to be aware that dogs will be on the site (and the responsibility of their owners). Thank you in advance for welcoming our pet guests!

All pods are pet friendly, therefore the previous guest may have had a pet in the pod and the pods around you may have a pet.  But don’t worry all pods are deep cleaned. When making your booking you are adhering to our general policies which includes the understanding that pets on site.  

PET OWNERS – 

We are happy and excited to welcome you and your pet guest.   Please book on your pet at the end of your pod booking and tick the T&C’s.  Once we know you and your furry friend are coming to the pod we will get everything set up for your arrival…including our Pet Welcome Pack!

The Pet Pack

As part of your stay we will provide a bowl, pet cushion, towel , plus doggy bags for your pet guest.  Feel free to bring anything else that makes your pet feel comfortable.

Bringing your Pet to the Pod Site

There are a few things to note to make your stay as seamless as possible. Please see our full T&C’s for all details and declarations required for you to bring your pet.  Below are a few quick reference points.

Quick reference points:

• Add your pet to the booking as a supplement;
• The supplement is £30 per dog per reservation;
• Small and medium sized breeds only;
• You are fully responsible for your pet;
• Additional cleaning and damage will incur a charge;
• A pet pack is provided (as above).

• Please clean after all dogs and use the allocated waste bins provided on site;

• Please be mindful of your neighbouring pod who may not have a dog with them.

We hope you and your pet have a wonderful time on the pod site, there is plenty of wide open space to run around.  There are also pet friendly places to go and visit during your stay – such as Montalto Estate just a 5 minute drive which have pet friendly trails and a dog training area.  Delamont Country Park, Newcastle strand and Castle Ward are all pet friendly places.

Full T&C’s are noted below:

• Pets can only booked in advance on to the site.  After you have made your booking, just add the ‘Pet Supplement’ to your booking.  The pod will then be pre-set up for your arrival with the pet pack.
• There is a £30 supplement per dog. Please note this supplement is per reservation.  (This fee does not apply to  guide dogs or assistive dogs)
• We only allow a maximum of one dog per pod and we have to restrict the size to 30/40lb (small & medium size breed).
• If you require more than one pet please send us an email detailing your requirements.  The reservations team will speak directly to the host to discuss and see if we can accommodate your request.  Please note this is for small breeds only and possible maximum 2 pets) – email kinelarty@further.space
• As the owner you are fully responsible for the behaviour and welfare of your dog whilst on our site. Please ensure you have full control of your dog as we have to be mindful of other guests staying on site too.  We welcome the use of crates for your pet during your stay.
• All dogs must be toilet trained
• Dogs must be washed and on flea medication prior to arrival.   Pet’s must be up to date with their vaccinations, and we may ask for your pet vaccination booklet.
• Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.
• Any additional cleaning or damage will incur a charge
• Dogs left unattended in the pod must be secured in a proper pet carrier.
• Please do not use guest towels in the pod for your dog.  We have supplied a complimentary towel for our canine guests or please bring your own
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on the pod site grounds and properly disposing of the waste in the outside bins provided.
• In extreme cases or if we receive more than two complaints, we may ask you to remove your dog off site if it is causing disturbance to other guests.
• Waste bags are provided in your pod so please use them and keep the site clean for yourself and for others.
• Failure to adhere to all off the above may result in additional charges processed against your booking.
• Certain breeds of animals will not be allowed based upon their inherent demeanour e.g Pit Bull, Rottweiler, and any other breeds deemed dangerous.
• Dog owners are responsible for all personal injuries and/or property damage related to their dog. All owners should carry personal liability insurance, Further Space Ltd or Kinelarty Pods cannot accept responsibility for any actions taken by your dog during its stay on our pod site.  Signing (via the online tick box) during your booking is taken as your declaration of acceptance of the pet policies and procedures.

Pre-ordering – in line with our COVID-19 safety procedures, for planning and to minimise contact with staff, we are asking guests to please try pre-order these items at least 2-3 days in advance of your stay date, as they will be set up and ready to go at your pod for your convenience.   Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, however, you are able to go off site and purchase BBQ items from any local store.

PLEASE NOTE: We operate a contactless self-check-in system so we require full payment for accommodation is required at the time of booking. You can book just the pod only, and at the end of your booking it will show you a range of options on the optional extra’s such as breakfast, camp fire pack and BBQ – these items will be only RESERVED and charged for prior to your stay.

There are also options to pre-book packages such as the ‘pod and campfire’ or ‘pod and breakfast’ so that you know that these are completely sorted before your stay.
