Just spent a lovely weekend in the Pods at Glenarm Castle. The setting is perfect with an amazing view over the bay. It is so peaceful, a real get away from it all. The pods themselves are just perfect. Our 8 year old slept in the top bunk whilst the bottom bunk was used to store the various toys and Lego sets he needs for just two nights away from home!
The Murphy bed was very comfortable from were you can enjoy the view without getting out of bed. The little kitchen area is the perfect size for making some hot drinks and snacks. A travel cot was provided for our baby, and even with that we still had plenty of room. We were worried that it might get cold so brought along lots of extra blankets with us and had the heat on. But there was really no need as the pods stay really warm. While we were there we enjoyed a visit to the Walled Gardens and Tea Room at Glenarm Castle. The highlight of the weekend was sitting round the fire pit roasting marshmallows. We will definitely be back!!
