We believe amazing should be open to everyone

“The location is stunning, the view from the pod of the mountains is incredible”

We stayed at Leitrim Lodge in March 2022. We were a party of two adults and two small kids.
The site itself is located about fifteen mins from Newry and it’s a further fifteen minute drive to Newcastle. The location is stunning, the view from the pod of the mountains is incredible with little to interrupt the peace and quiet of the location. The pod itself was spotless with everything we needed. The double bed was really comfortable- I’m always wary of a sofa bed but it’s not actually a sofa bed, rather the sofa forms the base of bed which pulls down from the wall. The bunk beds are perfect for small kids. The bedding was great quality and we all slept really soundly. We ordered a fire kit which was waiting for us when we arrived and a breakfast which was delivered to us in the morning. The breakfast box was was perfect for what we needed. Hot fresh pastries, yogurts, granola, juice and lots of fruit. The winner for the kids was the pancakes and Nutella. The location is great for access to Newcastle and Tollymore Forest Park. There is also small shop in the local village for supplies. Overall this was a great place to switch off and relax for an evening.
