We believe amazing should be open to everyone

This is my second time, in as many months, staying at the pods at Glenarm. I am a tourist guide and am always checking out new accommodation options so I can recommend them to my guests. I am also a hillwalker and on both my stays at Glenarm, I arrived to the pods at the end of a long walk.

I cannot praise the pods enough – they have everything I need for a perfect stay. On my first stay, I had access to the firepit; and on my last stay (two nights ago) I was really glad of the hot tub. It took just over 2 hours to heat the water to a perfect ache-soothing temperature, and as I bathed in the hot water, under a full moon, looking out over the distant lights of Glenarm harbour, I could not have asked for anything more.

The pods have been expertly designed with a really surprising amount of room in the shower and in the very comfortable double, fold-out bed. The little bunks room at the rear is lovely and cosy, and the heated towel rail in the bathroom meant that when I arrived in the pod, cold and tired, I was warm and comfortable again in no time.

Communication with Further Space is perfect – all the information is clear, accurate and timely; and the site itself is pristine. Little twinkling lights give a sense of magic; the layout of the pods also gives privacy; there is ample carparking space, access to water, a shortcut path down to the village, and of course those breathtaking views.

I will be recommending the pods to my tour groups this year, as well as to industry professionals. For a single person, a romantic couple, a family, or even just friends, this is a really wonderful place to relax.

A tip from me was to bring a toaster – I did this both times and that allowed me to have a lovely cuppa and breakfast, sitting on the comfortable little chairs in the porch, watching the sunrise over the Irish Sea: heaven.
