“Why would you bother going abroad when there’s beautiful quirky places such as these Pods”
I’m tempted not to give a review because I don’t want too many folk finding out about this quirky, private 5* Pod and location. But that’s disingenuous to both Glenarm & go.further.space. It’s not glamorous camping, it’s much more than that. The Pods have most of what you need for a short break as a couple or with 2 young kids. The Pods have good quality fittings, tastefully (iKea) decorated and are comprehensively kitted out with sofa, pull down double bed, storage space, cutlery plates etc, 2 small bunk beds, fridge, shower, sink, heated towel rail, toilet, hot running water, hot thermostatically controlled air heat, consistent wifi. Also safe outside BBQ area, campfire, secure keypad controlled parking thus secure site. Fabulous views across North Channel, Scotland & shipping in the distance. And Glenarm Castle, it’s grounds, shop & their superb fayre in their coffee shop. Also safe walking through the gated keypad Gate to the pathway & onto the pedestrian walkways down to the beach front & small harbour (with small grocery store & 2 small pubs…) Why would you bother going abroad when there’s beautiful quirky places such as these Pods at Glenarm? Not to mention easy access to the Glens, Carnlough, Cushendun/Cushendal/Glenariff et al? Northern Ireland at it’s most beautiful.

“wonderful stay at Ocean View Pods”
We had a wonderful stay at Ocean View Pods. Check in was super easy and our pod was lovely and clean waiting for us. We had everything we needed and more. The bunk beds were excellent for our 5 year old. The shower room was really well equipped with electric shower, mirror, toilet and sink. Toiletries were supplies. The little kitchenette again had all we needed for a one night stay and there was enough space in the fridge for milk etc. There was also a little freezer compartment.
The pull down double bed was easy to use and the views at sunset and sunrise were spectacular.
We got the camp fire set with our booking and it was very easy to light the fire and keep it going.
We brought our own little BBQ.
There’s a great path down to the village and there’s a really good play park for kids. We had a nice walk around the village.
We also spent some time at the castle and there’s so much to see and do! The walled garden is lovely. The eateries there are excellent – highly recommend the milk parlour for a delicious ice cream!
We had a super trip as a family and are looking forward to returning!

Stayed at Glenarm glamping pods in march and April 2022.. Just a lovely wee night stay, so chilled out, away from your worries for a wee bit, ordered the smores pack…get the campfire lit and get your smores on the go. Pods themselves are gorgeous, full bathroom too….
Would recommend and sure your only a stone’s throw from Glenarm beach and all the facilities, shops and cafe around Glenarm castle grounds.

We stayed at Glenarm Castle in March 2022. The pods were excellent – quality bed linen, towels etc and excellent design – every detail well thought out. very quirky but modern. We had a lovely last minute get away with our 12 year old. Views were amazing – especially by night watching the moon rise.

We had an amazing stay at the ocean view pods at Glenarm March 2022. The site was impecable and the whole experience so romantic and memorable. Will certainly look forward to a return visit in the future.

Such a beautiful view in one of the most relaxing environment I have had. The pod exceeded all my expectations, every detail was considered. Such as comfy and cosy space with exceptional views. The bed was really comfortable and the facilities in bathroom etc more than what you would expect.
Spotlessly clean and a very straightforward check in and out. The night time lighting was so pretty and allowed us to enjoy the views but to be completely private.
Definitely will be back to stay in this hidden gem!
