Pure luxury. Like a hotel room inside a glamping pod. Had a fantastic two night stay with campfire experience. We had a bbq on our first evening and drove to Fitzpatricks for dinner our second night. The contact free service was first class. Lots of emails full of information in the week leading up to our stay made it hassle free and extremely straightforward. The place was spotless. Beds extremely comfortable, even more so than a lot of hotels we’ve stayed in. We also booked the breakfast basket for our first morning. Everything was lovely and fresh. The pods were super warm and cosy. Although no Wifi service is offered the 4g coverage was first class which kept the kids happy. Great for a couples getaway or a family with young children. If you’re wanting to get away from it all and completely unwind with amazing views. Rathwood is the place for you!!!

“Something a little different and fun”
We had the best time, pods are so cool..the add ons are well worth it, breakfast did for 2 days. Toasted Marshmallows on the fire pit well worth it! The pods are very clean and well designed, Waking up to the Views was amazing. Self check in and out and easy to follow directions and instructions. Will be trying more out around the country. Something a little different and fun.

We had a wonderful break at Rathwood. The setting is idyllic, we watched the sunset every night and watched the moon rise over the Mournes while we toasted marshmallows on the fire. The pods are really clean and luxurious. Everyone slept well in comfortable beds with nice linens. It was like a luxury hotel room rather than a camping pod, and the mini kitchen was well equipped. We will definitely return. Thank you!
“What an amazing place!”
What an amazing place! I am not a “camping” person and this was better than staying in a hotel. It had all the essentials you need like en-suite, kitchenette, separate room for the kids but with the privacy and peace and quiet you don’t get at a hotel. You can totally unwind and take your time and enjoy every moment – including the amazing views!!!!! The weather was not kind to us during our 3 day stay but we all still managed to have a fantastic time. Excellent value for money. Only thing I would change is to add a curtain for a bit more privacy across the window/door. The kids didn’t want to leave and have begged us to book it again for next summer.
“Great quality accommodation in beautiful locations”
After seeing these pods earlier in the year and then hearing recommendations from friends who stayed at other sites recently, we tried for 2 nights with no success. We did however get lucky with single night bookings and managed 1 night (12th August) in Kinelarty and 1 night (13th August) in Rathwood. Great quality accommodation in beautiful locations. Ample comfort and green space for the kids to play. A mini adventure for them in a year with little travel. Thankfully weather was kind to us on both dates. The views I’m Rathwood were special! Great way to explore local areas with family. We are already talking about our next booking 🙂

Spent two nights in Rathwood Farm in one of the pods. We had the most wonderful time. Pods are really cool and the outside area with the fire and picnic bench are perfect. With clear sunny days we had fantastic views if the mourne mountains. Bring your food and drink and you really won’t want to leave the site
